How to set up the exam for one or more classes with all the subjects?

In examination module you need to follow the order of the screes in the menu.

Before you start, setup Exam master alone for entire year as shown in the example below. After that when you follow the below steps, and if you just put repopulate yes, it will populate the config for all exams for you, saving a lot of time.

After you finish Exam Setup. you need to setup

  1. Subjects (Subject Master)
  2. Assign subject to subject group  (Subject Grouping) Just put group name as SCHOLASTIC and add all subject to it if you are unclear
  3. Class Subject Allocation will now work when you select class and subject group. Also mark subjects as optional for subjects that not all students in a class take. like language, if few in a class take hindi, and few take arabic, you have to mark both hindi and arabic as option at this stage.
  4. If you have marked any subject as optional then go to Student Subject Allocation and assign students for each of the optional subjects
  5. After this do the Class Subject Subcomponents - This is for adding subcomponents like Theory and Practicals for Chemistry for class 11,12. You will only do for class and subjects where you enter marks in more than 1 mark.
  6. Likewise setup Coscholastic Areas, skills, indicators, and allocate to class.
