How to assign students to Optional Subjects?

Optional subjects are those additional subjects that a student is offered to choose to learn during the course, apart from the mandatory subjects that are designed for a particular class.

In Hal Edgecation, the mandatory subjects are assigned to particular class students by default and the optional subjects are to be assigned to those students based on their choice of subject.

How to assign students to optional Subjects?

Class Section Manager > Student Subject Allocation > Create New

Select the class and choose from the listed optional subject against which the students are to be assigned.

 Click on ADD Items, all the students assigned to that particular class will be listed. Out of that add only those students who have opted to learn that particular subject.

Click ADD to create the transaction. Now the selected students have been assigned to that optional subject.

In the above given screen shots, we have assigned 5 students of class 4 E to the optional subject URDU.

This selection can be viewed from a teacher login who teaches the particular class.

The below given screenshot is of a teacher login who teaches 4-E and when he/she selects URDU subject, those 5 students which were assigned to the subject are only listed.
