Asset Repair / Maintenance

Types of Asset Repair / Maintenance:-

Repair:

Asset Repair can be defined as work completed to fix damage or deterioration of a property, 

For Example: Replacing battery of a laptop.

Maintenance:

Asset Maintenance is defined as work completed to prevent deterioration to a property,
For Example: Servicing of printer.

Enhancements:

Improving the condition or value of an item beyond its original state at the time of purchase is defined as a Enhancements.

For Example: Increasing RAM of a laptop.

To Create Asset Repair Maintenance, Click Asset Management -> Asset Repair, Click Create New

Basically this screen is meant to record the Expenses Incurred for Asset Repair / Maintenance which is paid already.

Once the above details are Entered, Click ADD

Note: In Asset Repair, if maintenance type is selected as Enhancement, the amount entered for enhancement will get displayed in the Enhancement Column next to the Purchase Cost Column in the Item Management - Asset Depreciation Details section.
